This talk is to introduce my paper Cosmic-ray electrons and the magnetic field of the North Polar Spur on The International Symposium on Cosmology and Particle Astrophysics 2024 (CosPA 2024), Ningbo University, 2024 June. I have been awarded the Best Presentation Award in this conference by Asia-Pacific Organization of Cosmology and Particle-Astrophysics.
